On this Sunday we give thanks

for

1. The tissues that were sacrificed (unbeknownst to me) while I got ready for church
2. Nursery workers from a sister church that come to help us
3. Other kids to play in the nursery with our kids
4. A personal success- I made no comments on Kent's outfit or appearance before he left for church
5. Singing this song (in a much slower and piano-artsy-ish way) The weight of guilt I bear no more
6. 37 people in church today! The week after Easter!
7. People sticking around afterwards to chit chat 
8. Spaghetti sauce in the slow cooker
9. Rest time and a second cup of coffee
10. The girls' anticipation of movie night tonight

Did today feel different to you? Special in any way? Today, February 17, marks T E N Y E A R S of blogging for me! Whaaaattttt. We-Need-A-Name-For-This-Wednesday

First, dear readers, we have some business to take care of. I'd like to do semi-regular posts on "Thrifting" (something catchy like like Thankful Thursdays) All I have so far is... More of Caris' Inheritance Down the Drain Mondays or Stuff in my house Saturdays [Please submit any ideas] I have inner conflict (deep, counseling word) when it comes to Thrifting. I legitimately don't want a bunch of stuff in my house so the obvious answer would be to avoid shopping altogether (moment of silence while part of me DIES). But the thrill of the hunt keeps me going back again and again. I feel like we've talked about this before... sorry I looked into joining the local Y as an alternative to shopping, . I pictured Tiny Su and I swimming daily and pumping some iron until I found out that it was ninety-nine dollars  a month. That doesn't exactly fit into the monthly budget so my weekly solo outings usually consist of grocery shopping, walk
