Easter {2019}

Easter Sunday
or
the year we had to crop the picture because everyone grew 3 feet over the winter
(and we didn't cross our legs)
or
the year Audrey started to have her own fashion opinions
We started the morning with German kinder eggs sent from our Florida friend, Ilse. The girls were surprised to find that Uncle Walker and (fiance) Katey had spent the night to lead worship for Easter. I always enjoy roping our guests into playing the games we play all of the time. This visit was Guess Who?
 Lunch followed church and we had two church ladies + Aunt Anna join us for that. Three seconds after they pulled away from our driveway Pastor Kent came bounding down the stairs in a hoodie and sweatpants. This signaled the end of his wild week and I was happy for him. Ya'earned, Kent!!! Good work.
 Aunt Anna playing Guess Who? (while I sip coffee and giggle)
 Pops and Gigi came to visit in the late afternoon and, you guessed it, play Guess Who? Pops somehow managed, with his various schooling degrees, to guess the wrong person for Liza. Something to do with what kind of facial hair certain characters had. If you know Chuckles, this will make you laugh and shake your head. I love this picture of Liza Shelly and Shelly. It's how I felt after this week too. HOLD ME, GIGI, HOLD ME.
 Somewhere in the day Caris managed to scrape her arm on a huge chunk of tree that fell in our backyard.

We had a chance to step back and see how different people used their gifts to love and serve at church yesterday and that was encouraging. Thankful that Jesus bore our sins on the cross, gave us His perfect righteousness and rose from the dead! He is risen!
