The Beach {Part 2}

Smiles for Cousin Cruz! And Cruz is thinking something along the lines of, "Ohh Lawd, she's comin' for me! YOU GUYS..."  Feeding Max. He wins the BEST DOG WITH KIDS award. Go Max!  We put both Pops and Grandma to work with the Ergo A little reminder of their current homeland   Ahhhh  Here's to hoping that next year she's into surfing, long walks on the beach and getting buried in the sand

Beach Trip {Part 1}

Image
There weren't many beach pictures taken, but here are a few Caught Grandma mid-yawn with both grandbabies  Nothin' says Beach Vacation like a Santa mug  I thought last year was hard with the nursing, the naps and the bathing suits that wouldn't fit me, but nothing could compare to this year with the meltdowns and the overall hatred that Little Miss had for the beach.  An apple gave us a few quite minutes to enjoy the beach  We tried everything to make the beach FUN, FUN FUN. C's bathing suit of choice   One night we had a South Sudan inspired meal  {which was most likely followed up by large bowls of ice cream}

Cow Appreciation Day

Image
Our first Cow Appreciation Day as a family ( Awww ) Kent was on a youth trip last year and we're glad he's back in the dress-up game because he's quite the cow spot cutter. We enjoyed Chick fil A for breakfast, lunch and dinner.  "Sorry, Ma, no time for pictures!" She also stood by the fence where she waved and said hi to the people in the drive-thru line.   Hater of all things being put on her (bows, hats, etc.) I knew that a handkerchief was our best bet. The spots were a long shot. "Seriously, who put these black spots on me??"  What's a tradition without a little comparison? 4 months and 16 months   This feels like Y.E.A.R.S ago. Last year the thought was "This is our one big outing today and your Daddy's out of town. Let's make the most of it!" and this year it was, "Well..we're up at 7 anyways...wanna beat the breakfast crowd?"
