Truth Bomb

 Just gonna sneak back in here like I didn't up and leave you almost two years ago

Just gonna pretend that the new blogger format/layout/changes don't have me completely thrown off and feeling like a confused granny

Just gonna drop a truth bomb that's been on my heart for awhile

YOU CAN'T COUNT AUDIO BOOKS ON YOUR "BOOKS READ" LIST.  I may step on some toes, but people that pop up at the end of the year like, "I"m an avider reader, I read 100 books this year" I stand in awe of my avid reader friend/stranger on the internet but the awe slightly tanks when I find out that 54 of those books were audio books that were listened to. Do you read a sermon on Sunday? Do you read a song in the car? I say this with a smile on my face but also, let's aim to assign the correct numbers to the correct categories this year and be up front from the beginning. Here's an example largely inspired by my recent three years of Saxon Math. 

This year John read 54 books. He also listened to 46 audio books. Today John is wearing a red shirt. How many works of literature did he enjoy altogether? 

And with that short Ted Talk, boom baby, we're back! At least for now.

Two Weeks from Two

I wear fancy shoes while reading books next to my sister  I recently asked to wear a princess dress for the first time  I try to put on my sisters' panties when they're not around  I eat cereal with a spoon like a big girl  I "help" mom sort laundry by taking one pile out of the basket and putting it in a different (wrong) basket, all while naming the person that the article of clothing belongs to "ehyaehya DADDY ehyaaah MOMMY....eeeeMINE...."
