October Bucket List Revisited
My original October Bucket List found here
1. Drink my first ever pumpkin spice latte
2. Wear short sleeves
3. Make pumpkin bread
4. Eat dinner outside
5. Complete our costumes
6. Try the pumpkin spice oreos
7. Make soup
8. Burn "fall" candles
9. Carve a pumpkin
10. Go to the local farmer's market
My original costume idea (Basketball baby bump, Cheerleader Caris and Kent as a basketball player) didn't work out so the girls went with something else. More pictures tomorrow.
I wore short sleeves a few times and was even able to whip out a sweatshirt for a morning walk
The Oreos were pretty good! Don't stick your nose in the packet and take a deep breath because it'll smell like a Yankee Candle store. Take a bite expecting pumpkin/spice/gingerbread-y flavors and you'll be just fine.
I love candles, but hardly ever burn them (weird). I've had this pumpkin one for about 4 years. The wrinkly tablecloth? Just as long.
One of our outside meals. She took advantage of the new found freedom of not being strapped in and the meal took seventeen hundred minutes longer than usual, but that was okay because Kent was at Youth Group for the night and the only thing on our agenda was killing time.
Here's our first ever Pumpkin Spice Latte experience. After taking a picture of the drink, Caris wanted a picture taken of her pretzels.
The only things that went unchecked? Pumpkin carving (for the 2nd year in a row) and pumpkin bread (we were out of eggs) Thanks, October, you were fun!
